No solamente están aprendiendo karate y mejorando sus habilidades, sino también valores muy importantes como la disciplina, el respeto, la confianza y la perseverancia. "Great martial arts institute! If you're looking to learn self discipline, confidence, and/or self defense skills in a friendly, encouraging environment, this is the place for you! Edit: Now that I've left this institute, I can be more honest. The instruction is expert level, the classes are interesting and a are great workout. However, the master instructor is... interesting. He's very good with kids and clearly knows his stuff when it comes to Tang Soo Do, but he allows his politics and personal problems leak out to his adult students. And the dojang has seen better days, before covid. Last I was there, about 2 years ago, the adult classes were very late in the evening, which messed up my sleep schedule for school, which contributed heavily to my leaving. All that said, I found it rewarding to stick with, and enjoyed the sense of community I found there. I loved the sense of structured exercise the classes provided. And it was really fun!! I've since moved away, but Roman's Shin Katate will always hold a special place in my life, as a place that helped share me into who I am today. Thank you Roman's Shin Karate, and everyone who makes it what it is!"
